woke up to early on the wrong side of the bed

ever have one of those days?

got up at 5am to let my neighbor that i babysit in, could not fall back asleep.

doug was up at 6:30 & he was cranky

rushed out the door without showering to get josie to gymnastics , which i had forgotten was canceled until i pulled in the drive... oh wait, forgot to mention the poop accident that happened on the way, & we had to turn around to change & clean up, THEN we drove to the empty parking lot.

tried to take 15 minutes to myself during nap time, but i don't need to tell you that didn't happen

kroger shopping trip didn't go all that bad, so that was a plus.

got home - unloaded a couple groceries

gave doug a time out for throwing toys

gave doug a time out for hitting josie

scolded josie for trying to head butt doug over the side of the couch

gave up on dinner ( im not hungry any way) - opened a couple of cans, heated up the contents, and dumped it on the kids plates, and told them to eat or go to bed

sat down & wrote this while they ate the delicious nutritious dinner i prepared

pray that the next 2 hours go well -

then ....

...bed for kids

&

.... wine for me

(did i mention paul works late tonight?)
